I began sketching from photographs while riding the downtown 6 in New York City. I often drew faces, Frida Kahlo, Samuel L. Jackson, Obama… and these time passers happened to be the beginning of her visual art occupation, I knew that there was much to learn if she were to take this seriously

After some appreciation for her sketches, Vero fell into painting. Her work has changed languages as she goes along with it, and now her paintings are bold and thought-provoking.

It was inevitable that Vero would fall back in love with metal. She took coiled galvanized steel and created a pope-like headpiece, and it took off. Bare handily, she shaped hard metals into crowns, using steel, copper, and brass. By Vero’s works often feel balanced and simple, so adding lush dried wildflowers, roses, stems, and leaves to metalwork balanced the headpieces, telling stories and lending personalities. The pieces come out beautifully raw and organic.

It didn't take long for Vero to jump right into digital design. Using the simplicities of paint on iOS and Windows, Vero learned from the basics and applied those fundamentals to more advanced software, including Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Digital designing became exciting to use throughout Vero's creative processes, so now she creates digital vision boards to not only organize her ideas and plans, but for flawless communication for clients, commissioners, and collaborations.


It is now that Vero has dove into filming, audio, and production software, such as Youtube, WeVideo, iMovie, and Adobe Premiere. She is currently working on several collaborations with organizations, Dimelo Vegan; a plant-based meal prep catering organization geared towards health awareness and community efforts. This, all alongside a docu-series project, which she aims to finish production when the NYC COVID 19 lockdown is lifted.
