Her most recent documentary received an Honorable Mention from the Los Angeles–based DaVinci Film Festival in 2025.
Vero is also dedicated to teaching and mentorship. She develops workshops and lectures that introduce artists and veterans to visual storytelling, focusing on analog film, creative direction, and the art of narrative. With projects reaching New York, Los Angeles, and the United Kingdom, her work continues to expand Noonlight’s mission to create meaningful and visually powerful stories.
Vero Perez’s artistic work is deeply influenced by a background rooted in disciplined, militant structure and shaped by contemporary, new-wave aesthetics. Her creative direction reflects a harmonious tension between these elements, allowing her to adapt to the dynamics of popular culture while preserving the integrity of classic forms. Vero’s art emerges as a sophisticated response to the evolving landscape around her, presenting a poised departure from the status quo that both honors tradition and redefines it with renewed creative insight.
Drawing from personal experiences and life’s daily transformations, Vero channels her military training into a refined and methodical approach to both film and analog production. Her work embodies a respect for the avant-garde as a tool of resistance, a counter to fleeting conventions and self-imposed philosophies. As the founder of Noonlight Studio, Vero produces works like the documentary Winner, Jashaan Gill, which explores complex narratives with an unfiltered, immersive style. With each piece, she advances an artistic vision that values resilience and reinvention, capturing moments of raw authenticity in a rapidly shifting world.
